Installation time!

Carla, Meg, and Rosie installing "Keep the word vanishing until the end". We are taping wires up under Ron's custom made plywood tables. The tables hold photographs that Carla took of the sites where photo studios used by the N-B family once stood. The projector will project slides of the signatures of those studios, as found on the back of portraits in the NBH collection.

Carla, Meg and I are busy installing Carla’s work at the Nightingale-Brown House.  It is thrilling to see the work transform from an intellectual concept to a physical reality.  Carla’s piece, Keep the word vanishing until the end, looks wonderful and will certainly shake up people’s ideas of traditional historic home interpretation.

Jill comes tomorrow to start her installation.  Pictures of both installations are coming soon.

We hope to see you all at the opening on Tuesday, March 31st, at 5:30 PM, 357 Benefit St.
